Bishop Power Wand XLUMEN - Shader 3.5 mm Full Set
The Bishop Power Wand XLUMEN Shader is a wireless tattoo machine with LED lighting built into the body. The skin around the cartridge stays lit, so you build soft shading and black & grey transitions with no shadow from your hand and no lamp to set up.
Every detail in full light – Bishop Power Wand XLUMEN Shader
The Bishop Power Wand XLUMEN Shader is a wireless tattoo machine with LED lighting built into the body, a 3.5 mm stroke and a Faulhaber motor. The LEDs light up the skin right where the needle works, so neither your hand nor your arm casts a shadow over the tattoo. It's the next generation of the Power Wand, designed for artists who spend their days on soft shading and black & grey realism.
Light on the work area: LED with four modes
The light source sits inside the machine, and a diffuser in the grip spreads it evenly around the cartridge, so the field is bright from every side. You can choose between four modes, warm and cool, each in a low and a high setting. Warm light shows the skin's natural tone while you build values, and cool light boosts contrast when you refine detail. Switch modes with a button on the battery mid-session, without reaching for the lamp over your station.
Soft shading: 3.5 mm stroke and 37 mm grip
The 3.5 mm stroke gives you a gentle needle hit, which makes it a natural fit for gradients, Gray Wash and smooth tonal transitions built up layer by layer. With the field lit, you see every shift in tone right away, before you move on. The 37 mm grip, 6 mm wider than on the standard Power Wand, adds confidence in your hand. Your fingers work on a bigger surface, so your hand stays relaxed even through long sessions. For the sessions that follow, the Bishop Power Wand XLUMEN Disposable Grip is available separately in boxes of 10, with an even wider 40 mm profile.
Non-stop work: Faulhaber and two 2300 mAh batteries
A German-made Faulhaber motor drives the machine, while the battery firmware shows a live Hz readout and tracks session time, so you always know what speed you're running. The set comes with two XLUMEN Advanced batteries: while one is working, the other charges in the Critical Snap docking station. One charge gives you around 5 hours with the LED on, or 8–10 hours with it off, depending on voltage. Batteries and grips are shared across every XLUMEN version, so your Shader, Packer and Liner can all run on one kit.

FAQ
How is the XLUMEN Shader different from the Packer and Liner?
Only the stroke: the Shader has 3.5 mm, the Packer 4.2 mm and the Liner 5.0 mm. Motor, LED lighting, batteries and box contents are the same in every version.
Do XLUMEN batteries fit the Power Wand Advanced?
No. The XLUMEN runs on its own 2300 mAh batteries, which are not compatible with the Power Wand Advanced.
Which grips fit the Power Wand XLUMEN?
Bishop Power Wand XLUMEN Disposable Grips, with a diffuser matched to the machine's LEDs. You get four in the set, and refills are available separately in boxes of 10 [LINK: product 700541].
Can I use other cartridge brands?
Yes, the XLUMEN grip is compatible with most cartridge needle systems.
